The Money Dance
The Sayaw ng Pera is a Filipino wedding tradition that gives the guests the opportunity to offer their wishes of prosperity to the newlywed’s future together. In Italy, it is commonly known as Buste and traditionally danced to the Tarantella Medley. This dance represents the wish that good fortune is rained upon the bride and groom. Guests who wish to dance with the bride or groom are welcome to use the pins on your table. A long dance is considered good luck for a long marriage. Thank you!
